~Lost in love~

Tuesday that was gone, I spoke to Margot - Payot Distributer for our spa about I don't know whether I'm good in being a beauty therapist cause people just do not listen to what you want to try to make themselves healthier.

Margot said that I have the HEART, I'm perfect for my job. It's hard to have a beauty therapist that have the thoughts that would want to care for others.

I'm touched and delighted to know that she understands me on that spot because there were not many people know about it. Just a few I can say whom is my family and closest friends. I might forget your birthdays and your beloved anniversary. How I know you and how we all became friends. How we became so close and what drew us to be such besties. But it's all about caring and friends who are in need indeed in help.

I'm emotional when people that I love and care are no longer going to be just kms away from my house but have to fly to a specific destination to see them and gives a good long friendship or loving hugs. It's true that I have to go out more often to find friends but I'm too traditional because long friendships are hard to build. If I have a boy friend that can go shopping and has girlie chats with me, I'm awfully delighted to have you onboard too. I think I sound desperate but I can tell you the truth. I'm desperate and I do miss my closest friends.

~Resit for ITEC Waxing Theory~

Hehhee... went to resit for my exam today at 9. Guess what, I didn't arrive quarter pass 9 cause I was in the heavy traffic - city. I now understand that when it rains, PEOPLE DRIVES TO WORK or STUDY...!!!

Oh yeh, half way there - called the school to inform them that I'm late - Cool Huh? The university won't even bother whether you are late, who cares! You late you eat shit. So, I was busy walking up and down at the school's building because we have lots of students sitting for the exam half yearly. Then, changed quite a few classes and ended up sitting just to wait for - YOU ARE READY TO START. Eventually, my heart was not pumping as hard as previously when I was sitting for the exam last year end.

Last of all the stupid thing, I announce that I FORGOTTEN TO BRING PEN for the exam. Oh, that was cute! I have to go to the reception - find some pens, and people went to me - what the hack are you doing? I'm like - errrr, searching for pen. Tam and another girl were like, how could you forget to bring your pen to sit for exam? I went - oh well, there you go, I DID! But not point of me getting the pen cause we ended up using the HD pencil.

~Payot Product Training @ ParkView Hotel @ St Kilda~

So, I have missed my own perfect sleeps on Monday and Tuesday as I have to go for the Payot Product Knowledge Training at 9am.

It is presented by Kelly who has been working for Payot for quite a long time and she was a qualified nutrisionist as well. This training works well cause we touch about how the ingredients help the skin to be better.

This is the Maple Conference Room and it is cozy to have this kind of training as it just gives us different place to refresh the brain.

Water and sweets are provided for every two seatings. Sugar boosts your hyper active up. Good for training purposes.

Morning tea - coffee, tea, milk, cups and so on.

Muffins that is served today. Yesterday was Croissants with fruits or berries but I've forgotten to take a picture of it.

We had lunch in between at the Lime Restaurant at Ground Floor - didn't take my lunches cause I was so busy hungrying... Eat Eat Eat!!! An hour break, went up to the Maple Room - continue with the training. That is some of the products that we tested on our hands just to get the smell, test, and texture of it.

~Prince Alfred @ Port Melbourne and Booze Bus @ CityLink on Friday Night~

I was at the Prince Alfred just down the streets where my workplace is to celebrate Tammie's farewell as she is going back to work at her old place which is 2 minutes walk from her house compared to she has to take train and tram from her house, I think it took her around an hour and a half to Port Melbourne. I'm going to introduce my workmates.

We got table 2 as Tina came straight from her full-time work to have dinner and the rests just join in to have some drinks.

Beer - a jug costs $18. Around 5 people shares the beer except me cause I ended up having a red wine takes me ages to finish off.

As usual, we were all sitting and talking until it was around 9.30pm as it is time for the DJ to set up and have some 80's night dance. So far, I have been to once which was the beauty school for the introduction camp. It was fun cause we have to dress up but at Prince Alfred - everyone working class was there just to have fun and drinks to catch up with after work. Can say that it was my second time going out drink at the place where only working class people will go after work. It was good cause it's like - Ohhhh, I have grown up and joining the working class crowd.

Dimitra, Kayla, Tammie and Lauren went to dance while I was sitting and looking people playing pool. Tina and Matt (Tammie's boyfriend) were talking to each other. Around 10.35pm, I was bored looking at the people playing pool, went up to find the girls to dance with. It was pretty astonish cause don't really see me dance at all but I was happily dancing away as I REALLY NEEDED it.

Dance dance dance and drink beer beer beer - Had red wine and two glasses of beers. Took off my trench coat as I was getting hotter while dancing - guys were trying to get into our group and there was this young lad kept on hanging behind our backs. Guess what - he tried to tickle me to get my attention - inside of me - GET LOST, YOU IDIOT. He lost cause I didn't acknowledge him and went off, came back and asked two mates of mine - Can you two do Lesbian Dance?. Oh oh...... this was fun. Security guard came up, asked to follow him and there this young lad - Bye Bye.... to the entrance.

I left 15 minutes before 12am and drove back home cause I have to work the next day. Still got lots of alcohol in me cause the last beer which I took was around 15-20 minutes before I left. So, was hoping that there won't be any booze bus on the way home. Drove happily until I saw the signs saying roadwork ahead - 80kmh then 60kmh - police cars on the left side of the CityLink. This was weird.... 40kmh, one police car on the right. Better brake and I did it right in front of the police car. There it was BOOZE BUS ahead, bloody hellllllll....... Lights around shining the CityLink. I prayed to GOD so hard that time for more than 20 times just said: Oh God, please let me pass, please let me pass. Left and right lines - 10 cars each row. The police officers were like turn to your left... turn to your right.

Nervous break down and tried to pretend I was fine which I was but just have to be alert. Five cars ahead of me - one police officer were like go straight, keep on going straight. There I was, passed the random search and in my heart screamed - I PASSED THE BOOZEEEE..... Phewwww, that was close and my saying is: I will not drink and drive back home again. I'll just be good to do one drink and that's it.

~BarCode after Work~

Oh yeh, on the way home through Flemington Road - got a call from Elly Lukas Beauty College. It's odd to receive calls after hours - there you go.

My principal, Alex called me:
- Adriana, can you go to Barcode at CBD, Level 3?

I'm like:
- Don't tell me the school girls are not attending the volunteer job again.

Then I said to him:
- Yeh, I'm quite near to city on the way home through Flemington Road.

Alex said:
- Ok, go to Barcode now cause we need people to be there.

I said:
- But I'm wearing Endota's T-shirt.

He said:
- Turn it upside down. Oh wait, what color is it?

I said:
- It's white color.

He said:
- Don't worry, we LOVE Endota Spa. Just wear it and go.

I said:
- Ok, I'll be there soon.

Even though, I'm not more with school but then still got last minute call to volunteer. I'm a volunteer freak but then not when I finished work without dinner. I was there at BarCode - not many girls this time. It's getting quieter compared to the first 4 months when I was there - everything were so happening. Did the manicre very quickly - file, paint and NEXT!

I was there till nine pm, didn't get any drinks nor vouchers. The organizer went home earlier then left the others assistant, her name is Anastacia with fucking BIG BOOBS like Pamela Anderson. I told her politely that I'm going home cause I have to work and she fucking took her fucking anger on me. I'm like talk to Alex cause I'm cannot do anything, if you need anything - TALK TO ALEX. She was like: Oh, I'm really disappointed and angry cause there are not many girls came by. I said to her: I was previous student of Alex and I'm just here to volunteer for him. Then she went: oh, sorry but thank you very much for coming. Blabalbalabalalbl she went.

That's it - close case, I went back home. HAVE MY DINNER!

~Friends who are leaving Melbourne for GOOD~

Oh yes, I think only left Priscilia, Victor, Athina and I in Melbourne. The rests are going off for good. Don't know when I'll see them but hopefully one day we'll still get to catch up with each other or maybe go visit their country for holiday. Free accommodation.... Hahaha...!!!

First stop, Julia Loh - I've known her since in the Stupid College - International Inti College of Penang (IICP) since year 2000. We didn't talk in between 2001 to nearly half year of 2003 cause I was KL studying and she was in MIBT, Melbourne. Suddenly, we caught up somewhere on the streets of Melbourne - that's how we got to catch up with each other. Yes, she's like a big sister to me over here cause she's the DAMNIT who scolds me SHIT till I CRY as I always do WRONG THINGS especially with .... unfortunately, not going to tell here! Long time friend - seven years... goosh! She's my fashion guru too.

Wing - I knew her through Julia - she went to Africa to study High School, went back to Hong Kong to work then came here to study in MIBT. Oh yeh, that's the whole bunch of MIBT students except me which I nearly went for it instead of KL. Anyway, she's cool when she sits there doing nothing but when she talks - just be friendly cause she's a humourous girl. Knows how to enjoy life and also knows how to safe her beauty looks for important occasions.

Stephanie - yes, another julia's friend that I got to know. She's funny when you understand and speaks Cantonese cause she's the girl that creates excitement for the whole group and be happy 24 hours. Hey, don't gamble with her cause I ended up loosing when she comes in to play second round. Oh well, didn't loose much. It was only 80 cents compared to the first round I played - I won nearly four dollars. Anyway, back to steph - she's good in knitting and mobile cause she works at the mobile station in BoxHill - you want to buy new mobiles and plans - do it quick. You will see her there and try to get hold of her to get you a cheaper price or bargain.

I got another girl whose name is call May but I didn't have her picture. I'll do it next time when she dress properly. Too homestyle dress up cause she doesn't have to go out from the house when she doesn't need anything.

So, these are the friends that I have been hanging out with since the year of 2004. I'm going to miss them cause I don't get to practice my cantonese anymore with them. Ended up now going for English all the time and plus my HOKKIEN.... bloody hell! Oh yah, cynthia foo is in perth. Still can contact her and speack Hokkien and mandarin with her. Isnt' it a little miserable for me cause I don't get to learn my dialects? But.....

~Pacific House @ Sth Yarra on Friday Night~

On last Friday night, had dinner with my oldest aunt's family. That's Tania Davidge and her husband - Michael from Perth. Tania's already one and half months pregnant - I think she's the second oldest cousin. Next picture obviously is my Uncle Peter - aunt's husband. Funny guy that likes lots of humour in every conversations. We had our dinner at the New Pacific House along Toorak Road which is quite near to Chapel Street. I think the food here is better than the one in Victoria Street, Richmond.

This is the Chef's Special Hot Pot that has seafood, char siu and some veges.

That's the first half of the oldest aunt family and she got two more girls I'll take a picture of them next time when I get to see them.

~Dinner with Aunt and Uncle~

Oh yes, I was cleaning the house nearly for two afternoons now cause my aunt and uncle from adelaide coming down to live at my place for two nights. I have to sleep at the living room enjoying the sofa bed which I only slept once over the summer.

Had dinner at Galangal Restaurant, Mout Waverly - my previous work place. Good dinner with my Kari Ayam (Curry Chicken) that exist in the restaurant. Everyone knows that it's my FAVOURITE dish of all times at that place. So, if I ever bring you there - you know what to do. DO NOT FORGET TO ORDER THAT DISH....!!!!

~Soul Mama @ St Kilda~

First of all, pay your parking before you go for your dinner. Or else, you don't want to ended up coming out from dinner and found out that you might need to pay around 55 dollars for a parking ticket fine.

So, this is St Kilda Sea Baths at the Jacka BLVD which is at the beach side and Soul Mama is at the other end but inside and upstairs.

The waitperson will come to you while you are ready to be seated and warm up your chair for awhile. She'll introduce you the courses you can choose and then she'll give you a meal docket. Yes, it's a vegetarian buffet - Oh ya, first time but it's cool. I'm just a little unusual to me but hey, there are always first time for everything. Bring your ticket and line up for two long fish tanks to choose the dishes that you like. I had 2 course meal with dessert and I get to choose rice and 4 dishes.

The 3 course meal will be the big silver plate and 2 course meal is the smallest of all. Don't know what's the middle for anyway. Hahaa... Didn't ask what's that plate for what course. Choose your dishes and the waitress will give you the meal when she finished topping up the dishes on the plate. And waaaaa laaaaa, there she goes, showing off the meal to you.

The first dish, it's MINE - there are Burmese curry, Sri Lankan curry, then don't know what curry and just normal steam greens with jasmine rice. Second dish, Tania having pasta, spagetti, chickpeas curry, jasmine rice and salad.

Third will be steam greens with sour cream, dahl, chickpeas curry and Sri Lankan curry with rice. Fourth will be kukus, salad, chickpeas curry and another curry.

Then, seat and wait for everyone to come back and let's EAT.

Ok, I went to the toilet after the main meal cause I need to go for it. Of course, I took all the pictures in the toilet and went to wee wee. Finally, washed my hands at the sink. Cool Huh...!!! I know how you felt about toilet but at least this toilet is A W E S O M E cause it has TV. Hahaha... and something like a little dressing table.



This is Rose, my Elly Lukas Beauty School classmate - It's her birthday but it is supposedly to be tomorrow.

The final meal for the lovely ladies - DESSERT. Yummie!

Another area wich smaller bar and the cabinet in front next to the table is where you get to pick up some games and magazines to play and read at the indoor heating area with sofas as you will be smoking the genie jar thing or OPIUM....
