~Another New Year~

It's has been long since I last posted anything in this blog. I guess no one ever reads it anyway. I have a client back in Bella just said to me last month, just write whatever happen or just write something to fill the space for the today's news. I'm sure he was right about it cause I realized that I only posted 7 posts last year in 2008.

Now, it's already 2009. I wish everyone a good health in the year of an cow.. or it's call ox. I'm not very sure about it but whatever comes best for everyone this year. I'm trying to get the CNY pictures from my brother. He seems busy after he got married as his having a kid soon with his newly wedded wife.

Errrr... anything else? I'll just update my grandchildren's pictures soon... There are so many pictures to keep in memory. My only grandchild that is with me is leaving me soon for a new home. His adorable but naughty like JJ when he was a kid. Reminds me all the time when I got mad with my son and I just barely can hit this grandson of mine anymore. I better chao as it's late for the night. Muakssss... adios!

~1st time Karaoke in Malaysia~

Yah.. 1st time in karaoke in Malaysia after so many months not having shouting fun till everyone of us drop on the bed when got back home. Good thing, the next day we still can speak in our own tone rather than having a sore throat voice.

Hrmm... don't ask me where it is cause I forgotten where it was but somewhere at Petaling Jaya area which is quite near to our home. Food was good as well as it has varieties, didn't know they serve this kind of dishes until I took too many different food till I can't even finish it all by myself.

TV screen was big I think I can stand any corner of the room to sing as it has mirrors on the wall as well.
Me with the mic singing all the way.

Karen and brother whom is really darn enjoying himself with two gals beside him.

Karen, brother and I.

~Christmas Dinner 2007~

Christmas dinner was at SmokeHouse in K.L.. Oh yah... really smoke house, hahaha.. it was an old traditional cottage house which it is a restaurant for serving western food only but to tell u the truth, the lamb was pretty dry on that night which wasn't a worth it dinner to dine there actually. Anyway, but it was ok then eating food which is bad till you drop.

The restaurant has a waiting area where the customers wait to be seated at the table or to be serve by the captain. It was decorated in a English style but the firework wasn't working of course. Hahaha..

Me at the waiting area so at least you get to view the fireplace upper part.

We were seated at a crooked area. Hahaha.. Not that I want to complain but it's the truth.
This is another part of the restaurant just right behind where we were seating.
My dad and I.
My brother and mom
Salted cheeses were served but actually salted cheese is not good for health.
Eggnog, my first time having it but I don't like it so I gave it to my mom after a sip.

Red wine - Yum Yum...!!! My favourite drink of all times and I took a picture of my dad drinking the wine.
Carols were singing in 4 different parts of the restaurant and they have a pretty good voice.
Hrmm... can't remember the soup but it was good till bottoms' up by me.
Yah... brother was hungry until he has to lay on my mom shoulder's while waiting for the main course to come.
4 different biscuits and cakes were served but I only like one of it which I ended up not eating the rest but took the one that I like from other's place.
We were back at the lounge which were actually waiting for the bill to come. Nice place huh.. On the right corner is a bar. So yah, you can actually drink and sit there while waiting to be serve if it's too busy.

~Christmas with Family in 2007~

This Christmas in 2007 is the first ever that we have a christmas tree in the house and which whole family is gathered after so many years of my brother seperating with us or me seperating with our family.

So, my dad as the man of the house has to put the angel on the top of the tree with my brother's help as I kind of screwed up the top part due to was placing too many stuff on it. Hahaha.. so the angel looks a bit crooked in a way on the top but this christmas tree really costs our family a big fortune which we really invested lots of jingles & jungles and don't know what else we put. At least, it came out nicely done and lovely colours too.

Family taking the pictures a day before the christmas' eve and just came back from the dinner around the local area. Introducting my mom and dad the lovely couple.
My brother and his beloved daddy

My dad, brother & his daughter, Sa Sa, and my mom with my son, J J.

Myself, my son, J J, mom and dad

Of course as always, me presenting my first christmas tree at our home in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

These are the christmas presents for each and everyone of us in the family with our guest from my brother.

The finally decorations of our christmas tree with presents.

Christmas' eve is all about Mary getting ready to give birth to baby Jesus at Jerusalem at the stable. For us in this century is about family gathering, attending church and opening presents before the christmas day or maybe should say on christmas day after 12 midnight.

First stop, my dad looking for his presents under the christmas tree. Presenting his christmas presents which is actually there are a few missing items.

Mom was happy with her cooking book as usual which is a really big and heavy ones. Hrmm.. it was good in reading and got too hungry after that which I always ended up went to cook instant noodle.
My brother has a few good presents happily.

As usual, I am the baby of the house. Of course I get more pictures taken when I am opening my presents. In the year of 2007, I have lots of branded bags which I always wanted to have it for so many years. At last, I have my wish came true... Hahahaha!!!

My son, J J is back from Australia and now living in Malaysia but of course sadly to say that my son can never go back to where his home is as he has to stay in quatantine which I don't like him to suffer in that cage as he is a free baby boy in our eyes.
Sa Sa is my brother's daughter which of course has been borned and lived in Malaysia all her life. With the love and care from my mom once in a while coming in from Sabah or Sarawak to be with her beloved grand children.

~CNY 2008 with Family & Relatives~

Chinese new year family and relatives dinner.. it has been so many years we didn't catch up as a big family to have a proper sit down dinner. Of course, we still loose out eldest and third aunties, youngest uncle. Can't remember where's the exact name of the restaurant but it is around the Taman Mayang the plaza area.

We were waiting for our round to have the dinner and we booked the second round as it was really jam packed outside of the restaurant. Everyone of us were just standing or sitting on the chairs to be seated inside. Errrmmm, can't wait for the food actually.

As I have said earlier on on my blog that "Yee Sang" is the open ceremony for the chinese new year eve's dinner onwards till the 15th day but of course I was working on the 15th day so didn't get to find my soulmate at the river side. Sad sad!!!

This is one of my favourite dish of all time, yummiiiieeeeee... shark fins soup. Oh well, I actually love to drink soup all of my life especially when I am sick. Soup and chicken rice are my best buddies.
Steam fish is a must.
Prawns must be in the menu too.
Chicken fried with onion was just an extra option, so it was not the actual dish in the menu.

Yes, you love duck.. we have the duck. Anyone wants the duck brain???

Hhhrmm.. this is a surprise. It's a vegetarian dish, when you cut it into half, there are more veges inside. Cool huh?

Missed out another rice dish but never mind, cause I was too full to even remember to take a photo of it and it's rice at the last dish before desert while we already asked for some steamed rice. So, this are the desert. We have a red bean glutinous ball and red bean paste deep fried and the "Leng Chi Kang" style desert soup. I think I haven't eaten desert for few weeks since chinese new year.
